2026 SUMMER INTERN PROGRAM INTEREST APPLICATION

The San Diego Padres are proud to host our annual Summer Internship program. This 10-week intensive program runs in-season from mid-June to mid-August, providing college students the extraordinary opportunity to experience working in professional sports. Rising undergraduate and graduate students will be given the opportunity to work alongside industry professionals in a variety of departments, including Marketing, Accounting, IT, Ballpark Operations, Sales, and more!

Interns will be assigned daily projects and tasks to coincide with their field of study, gaining hands-on experience and building valuable relationships through mentorship and networking that will last a lifetime!

Program Highlights:

• Gain hands-on experience working in a professional sports setting under the direction of a tenured leader in your field of interest.
• Work on influential projects that directly impact the Club’s day-to-day operations.
• Develop your skill set through personal and career development.
• Build valuable connections through mentorship and networking opportunities, including Coffee Chats with the organization’s Leaders.
• Perks such as hosted lunches, daily barista service, access to employee tickets, retail discounts & more!

Recruitment Timeline & Eligibility:

Recruitment for the 2026 Summer Internship program begins in the Fall. Interested students should submit their online applications when the internship opportunities are posted on the Padres Career website.

Note: By submitting your application of interest, you will be added to our Summer Internship contact list. You will receive an email once the individual internship opportunities have been posted and will be instructed to formally submit your application in order to be considered for the position.

Requirements:

While the number of intern opportunities offered annually varies depending on the staffing needs of the Club, we encourage college and graduate students to apply if they meet the following requirements:

• Must be at least eighteen years old.
• Must have just completed their undergraduate Sophomore or Junior years of college by Spring 2026 OR are currently enrolled in a Graduate program.
• Are interested in working for a professional sports team.
