Additional Information About the RoleShift information: FT Day Shift 8 AM - 4:30 PM (no evenings, weekends or on call required)Types of clients: Transition age youth ages 16 - 25 years of age with mental health or co-occurring diagnosesLocation: Pagedale Facility, however this position is mostly community-based and you will work throughout the greater STL areaIdeal Skill Set:Works well with multidisciplinary team, can self-manage caseload, accountable when in the community, trauma-informedJob responsibilities: provide SUD treatment and education to clients, appropriately assess client treatment needs, provide services in the community MUST have at least ONE of the following Qualified Additional Professional credentials/certifications:Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC)Certified Reciprocal Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CRADC)Certified Reciprocal Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CRAADC)Certified Criminal Justice Addictions Professional (CCJP)Registered Alcohol Drug Counselor-Provisional (RADC-P)Registered Alcohol Drug Counselor (RADC)Co-occurring Disorder Professional (CCDP)Co-occurring Disorders Professional Diplomate (CDPD-D) OverviewBJC Behavioral Health is a community health center that provides and coordinates behavioral health services for more than 8,000 seriously mentally ill adults and seriously emotionally disturbed children in St. Louis City, St. Louis County, St. Francois, Iron and Washington counties. As an Administrative Agent of the Missouri Department of Mental Health (DMH), BJC Behavioral Health serves as a major point of entry for people eligible for mental health services funded by DMH and is responsible for serving as gatekeeper to the public mental health system. Preferred QualificationsRole PurposeResponsible for providing ongoing therapy to clients identified with co-occurring disorders.
