Audit Staff Accountant

Position Overview:

The Ideal Candidate:
Detail-oriented and organized, with strong follow-through
Able to work independently while collaborating with a team
Comfortable managing busy season demands while maintaining balance
Strong communicator with clients and colleagues
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct fieldwork and perform substantive testing for audits
Assist in planning, execution, and completion of audits
Prepare workpapers and draft financial statements
Communicate with clients and respond to audit inquiries
Ensure audit documentation is complete, accurate, and in compliance with standards
Qualifications & Must-Haves:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or pursuing one
1–3 years of public accounting experience preferred
CPA or CPA-track strongly preferred
Proficiency in audit software and Excel
