Description Join an industry-leading organization as a Cost Accounting Analyst for a long-term contract role! Key Responsibilities: + Cost Analysis and Reporting: Manage cost accounting functions, including Bill of Material (BOM) updates, variance analysis, and delivering detailed costing reports for plant management. + Business Insights: Identify cost reduction opportunities by analyzing KPIs related to production costs, inventory management, and operational efficiency. + Financial Planning: Support the creation of forecasts and budgets for production, labor, and overhead costs while aligning with market trends and business needs. + Inventory and Audit Management: Analyze inventory levels, reconcile discrepancies, and assist with internal audit processes and compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX). + Capital and Fixed Asset Oversight: Manage capital requests, fixed assets, and leases while ensuring accurate royalties and maintenance expense planning. Qualifications: + Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management. + 3-5 years of relevant experience, CPG industry strongly preferred. + Strong skills in Microsoft Excel; SAP knowledge highly preferred. + Detail-oriented with excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. + Proven ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
