Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.

Job Description

Role Purpose:

The Corporate Communications team is seeking an Executive Assistant to support the Chief Communications Officer as well as additional project support throughout the team as needed. The position will be based out of New York, NY.

Responsibilities:

• Provide day to day support to the Chief Communications Officer and other Executives on the team as needed
• Provide professional phone coverage and maintain contact book
• Manage calendars, scheduling, coordinating internal and external meetings, video conferencing, and other activities as required
• Help keep executives on schedule for meetings
• Coordinate travel agendas and arrangements, remember individual preferences, and create detailed travel itineraries
• Complete and submit all expenses through the Concur system
• Oversee and support executive technology requirements
• Book conference rooms on the floor and in the building for team meetings and high-volume events 
• Coordinate catering for all events and larger team meetings
• Research and assist with additional projects as required
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external partners
• Handle general office and administrative tasks

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in an Executive Assistant or equivalent role, supporting Senior Level Executives
• Experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Ability to successfully multi-task and meet deadlines

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the New York, NY office a minimum of three days per week.

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
