At Wenger, we are passionate about creating high-quality, innovative food products that delight customers and meet the highest standards of safety and nutrition. We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Food Technician to join and support the development and testing of food products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with Extruder set up prior to run
• Operate production equipment according to safety and hygiene standards
• Unloading, inventorying and staging ingredients for test runs
• Operate lift truck with certification
• Cleans and Maintains Wenger Extrusion Equipment
• Tech Center sanitation and light maintenance
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Good communication skills and ability to work in a multi-discipline team environment.
• Effective computer skills and the ability to operate automated control systems
• Result orientation, ability to follow through and respect deadlines.
• Proactive and organized.
• Self-motivated
• Ability to manage confidential information.
• Physical Capacity Profile/Drug screen required.

Education & Experience:

• 18 years of age or older
• High School diploma (or equivalent)
• Prior Extrusion Experience - preferred
