We are currently hiring someone that can lift the spirits of one of our clients, that is Friendly & Engaging Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) or Experienced PCA. If you love bringing smiles, creating meaningful moments, and thinking outside the box, this is the role for you. Position Overview We are seeking vibrant, proactive and experienced CNA/PCA to provide in-home support to a client with dementia who needs basic support with care and engaged companionship. The client needs support with meal planning & preparation, reminders for drinking liquids, and other basic care elements. This role also offers the opportunity to be proactive in identifying and exposing the client to events, experiences, or activities that will capture their interest and imagination. Primary Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities such as mobility, meal preparation, and dressing/grooming
• Identify or recommend fun and engaging activities for client, they really enjoy sports, especially football (Washington Commanders is favorite team)
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Transport and accompany to doctor's appoints
• Collaborate with family members and care teams to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

• Active CNA license in the state of Virginia (preferred)
• Experience with dementia
• Physically able to assist with transfers and mobility support
• Outside the box thinker when it comes engagement with client
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
