Step into a Second-Shift Role that Moves Fast

The Job Center is partnering with a respected client in Roanoke, TX to add High-Reach Order Picker Forklift Operators to the team. This is a temp-to-hire path with a company that values reliability and precision.

A Day (and Night) on the Job

You arrive for second shift at 2:00 p.m. and gear up for an evening of purposeful work. You’ll navigate a cherry picker/high-reach truck to select inventory, confirm each pull with an RF scanner, and keep product moving efficiently until 12:30 a.m. Your independence shows in how you organize your tasks and maintain accuracy under pace.

Compensation, Schedule & Benefits

• Pay: $19 an hour
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 p.m.–12:30 a.m. (mandatory OT as business needs)
• Benefits (temp-to-hire): Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), PTO

What You’ll Do

• Operate a cherry picker to pull and stage inventory safely.
• Use an RF scanner to verify pick accuracy.
• Work independently while maintaining speed and precision.

What You Bring

• Excellent attendance and dependability.
• Willingness to work mandatory overtime.
• At least 6 months of experience driving a forklift.
• Ability to lift 60 lbs consistently throughout the shift.

Compliance

Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
