As an experienced Care Manager with FirstLight, you will be responsible for managing the office, hiring, scheduling and supervising caregivers, conducting client intakes, originating service plans and supervising client care.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily office and field activities to promote exceptional client service.
  • Recruit, train and retain caregivers.
  • Schedule shifts by matching caregiver qualifications and availability to clients’ needs.
  • Perform in-home evaluations, caregiver introductions, and coordination of client services.
  • Supervise and coach caregivers and conduct performance reviews.
  • Conduct phone intakes and handle scheduling issues including after-hours and weekends as needed .
  • Visit prospective clients after referrals are made to introduce FirstLight as needed.
  • Stay current with changing technology and software.
  • Uphold, support, and promote all company policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements

  • You have an associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • You have three years of home care experience supervising caregivers.
  • You have experience using home care software, WellSky experience preferred.
  • You have experience hiring caregivers including orientation and training.
  • You are a leader; an effective communicator and you have excellent interpersonal skills.
  • You are self-motivated, a quick learner and take initiative.
  • Others say you’re confident, friendly, and have a positive attitude.
