Lab Technician – Tulsa, OK

Job Type: Contract (4-6 months)

Shifts: 24/7 Operation – Rotating Schedule

• Week 1: Mon, Tue, Sat, Sun

• Week 2: Wed, Thu, Fri

• Shifts: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

• Flexibility required

Job Description:
HireCall’s client in Tulsa is seeking 1-2 Lab Technicians for a 4-6 month contract with the possibility of becoming long-term. No prior experience is necessary, but a science background is preferred. The client will train the right candidate. This role is ideal for detail-oriented, safety-conscious individuals who can work in a high-pressure, climate-controlled lab environment handling toxic and flammable gases.

Responsibilities:

• Calibrate, monitor, and measure laboratory equipment and samples

• Follow standardized procedures with strict attention to safety

• Move canisters weighing up to 80 lbs

• Maintain accurate records and measurements

• Work closely with a small team while being a self-starter

• Wear required PPE (safety glasses and lab coat) at all times

Requirements:

• Submit to a Background check

• Drug test: Safety Sensitive Company

• Dress code: Rubber-soled closed-toe shoes required; jeans allowed if clean and free of holes; business casual preferred

• Ability to follow standardized procedures and prioritize safety

• Ability to lift and move 80 lbs canisters

• Strong reliability and impeccable attendance

Preferred:

• Science background

• Mechanical or electrical experience (higher pay considered)

Environment:

• Climate-controlled laboratory
