Job Title: Network Cabling Technician (Fiber Labeling, Excel, Cable Tracing 5+ yrs exp)

Location: Lawrenceville, GA (Onsite)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification

• Document current copper and fiber connections in network data closets.
• Update Excel spreadsheets with accurate network closet information.
• Use a laptop and label printer to create and attach labels for fiber patch panels and cables.
• Perform light cleanup and cable management within network closets.
• Notify the Director of Enterprise Infrastructure about any issues or areas of concern.

• Strong visual acuity to read and verify existing labels.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including OneDrive, Teams, Excel, and Word.
• Basic understanding of Windows operating systems.
• Solid knowledge of fiber cabling (single-mode vs. multimode) and connector types (ST, SC, LC, MPO, RJ45, etc.).
• Ability to accurately trace and label cables in active working environments.
• Ability to follow dress code and workplace conduct policies.

• Previous experience documenting or organizing network closets.
• Familiarity with structured cabling standards and cable management best practices.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Note: This position does not involve administrative tasks on network equipment, firewalls, or computer systems.
• Candidates must adhere to the organization's dress code and safety guidelines.
