Job Description

This is a remote position.

The Online Data Entry Specialist contributes to maintaining accurate and timely data across digital systems. Working remotely, this role focuses on entering, validating, and managing property and lease data with a strong emphasis on clear, proactive communication and collaboration with internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Precise Online Data Entry

    • Asynchronously enter property listings, lease details, tenant information, and related transaction data into digital platforms.

    • Ensure data adheres to accuracy, formatting, and company information standards.

  • Validation & Quality Assurance

    • Review entries for completeness and consistency; flag inconsistencies or missing details for correction.

    • Conduct routine online checks to uphold data integrity.

  • Timely Updates & Accessibility

    • Process data updates quickly to reflect changes in property status, tenant activity, or lease terms.

    • Respond swiftly to requests for data corrections or updates from virtual workflows.

  • Digital Collaboration & Communication

    • Coordinate virtually with Property Management and Brokerage teams to clarify data needs and resolve discrepancies.

    • Provide clear, proactive updates through email or project management tools.

  • Online Reporting Support

    • Assist in creating basic digital reports or logs that track entries like lease expirations and property availability.

    • Maintain a transparent record of data updates accessible to the team.

  • Process Improvement Feedback

    • Observe recurring online workflow bottlenecks and suggest efficiency-enhancing solutions.

    • Share ideas for improving accuracy, speed, or clarity in digital data processes.


Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree or relevant coursework in Administration, Information Management, or Business preferred.

  • 1–2 years of online or remote data entry, administrative, or support experience, ideally in real estate or similar industries.

  • Exceptional accuracy, attention to detail, and organization with respect to online data management.

  • Proficiency with standard office tools and comfort with remote communication platforms or systems.

  • Strong ability to communicate effectively in written form and manage tasks independently.
