Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Part Time Pharmacist to join our healthcare team, providing exceptional patient care . The ideal candidate is reliable, compassionate, and committed to providing exceptional customer care in a fast-paced community retail pharmacy.

Location: Costco Pharmacy on Bardstown Rd

Schedule: 24 hours per week, minimum of 4 days per week, including weekend availability.

Duties

Accurately verify and dispense prescription medications
Provide counseling on medication use, side effects, and interactions to patients
Administer immunizations
Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws
Support inventory management and controlled substance procedures.
Collaborate with technicians and store leadership to ensure efficient workflow.
Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure patient confidentiality at all times
Assist in training pharmacy technicians and supporting clinical initiatives such as immunization training.
Deliver outstanding customer service and help foster a welcoming store environment.

Qualifications

Active Pharmacist license in the state of Kentucky and in good standing with the KY Board of Pharmacy.
Immunization Certification Required
CPR certification Required
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Retail pharmacy experience preferred, but not required.
