Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Part Time Pharmacist to join our healthcare team, providing exceptional patient care . The ideal candidate is reliable, compassionate, and committed to providing exceptional customer care in a fast-paced community retail pharmacy.
Location: Costco Pharmacy on Bardstown Rd
Schedule: 24 hours per week, minimum of 4 days per week, including weekend availability.
Duties
- Accurately verify and dispense prescription medications
- Provide counseling on medication use, side effects, and interactions to patients
- Administer immunizations
- Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws
- Support inventory management and controlled substance procedures.
- Collaborate with technicians and store leadership to ensure efficient workflow.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure patient confidentiality at all times
- Assist in training pharmacy technicians and supporting clinical initiatives such as immunization training.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and help foster a welcoming store environment.
Qualifications
- Active Pharmacist license in the state of Kentucky and in good standing with the KY Board of Pharmacy.
- Immunization Certification Required
- CPR certification Required
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Retail pharmacy experience preferred, but not required.
