Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Part Time Pharmacist to join our healthcare team, providing exceptional patient care . The ideal candidate is reliable, compassionate, and committed to providing exceptional customer care in a fast-paced community retail pharmacy.

Location: Costco Pharmacy on Bardstown Rd

Schedule: 24 hours per week, minimum of 4 days per week, including weekend availability.

Duties

• Accurately verify and dispense prescription medications
• Provide counseling on medication use, side effects, and interactions to patients
• Administer immunizations
• Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws
• Support inventory management and controlled substance procedures.
• Collaborate with technicians and store leadership to ensure efficient workflow.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure patient confidentiality at all times
• Assist in training pharmacy technicians and supporting clinical initiatives such as immunization training.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and help foster a welcoming store environment.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist license in the state of Kentucky and in good standing with the KY Board of Pharmacy.
• Immunization Certification Required
• CPR certification Required
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Retail pharmacy experience preferred, but not required.
