Phlebotomist Needed in Sherrill, New York

We’re looking for a well-trained Phlebotomist to join our Urgent Care Center. In this role, you’ll be responsible for drawing blood, processing specimens, and ensuring patients feel comfortable throughout the procedure. Salary: $40,000 - $50,000 per year

Job Type: Full-Time

Work Hours: Monday - Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)

Patient Volume: 20-25 Patients per day

What You’ll Do:

• Collect blood samples from patients following proper techniques and safety protocols
• Label, store, and process specimens for laboratory testing
• Ensure patient comfort and provide clear instructions before, during, and after 
• procedures
• Verify patient information and maintain accurate records in the clinic’s system
• Prepare and sanitize equipment to maintain a sterile environment
• Work closely with healthcare providers and lab technicians to ensure timely sample 
• processing
• Follow all health and safety regulations, including infection control procedures

Requirements

• Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) preferred or relevant training/experience
• Previous experience in an outpatient clinic, urgent care, or laboratory setting preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols precisely
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accurace
