Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated Licensed Land Surveyor to complement our Civil Engineering Department. At DiLandro Andrews, we bring high-end residential visions to life, ensuring the integrity and longevity of luxury homes throughout the Tri-State area and the Hamptons. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Project management, including scope and schedule, of small to moderate land survey projects
  • Analysis and interpretation of public records including deeds, subdivision maps, plans, C&R’s, and other relevant documents
  • Perform necessary field work and train junior field crew members
  • Ability to keep accurate records, field notes, and sketches for work performed
  • Performance of surveying calculations
  • Ability to review and certify work of other staff members with a high-level of precision and accuracy
  • Manage quality control of all survey deliverables and coordination with Civil Engineering team members

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma required
  • Bachelor’s degree in survey engineering, geomatics, GIS, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of professional land surveying/geomatics experience including management of projects required
  • Must be a licensed New York State land surveyor
  • Working knowledge of current industry software, including AutoCAD and Civil 3D required
  • Experience with surveying instrumentation including GPS, robotic instruments, remote sensing UAV’s and LiDAR preferred
  • Proficiency in all aspects of land surveying including boundary lines/title, topographical, as well as construction stakeouts
  • Deep understanding of local zoning and subdivision regulations preferred.
  • For required field work, the ability to walk long distances in all weather and terrain
