We are so glad you are interested in joining Sutter Health! **Organization:** SDMC-Sutter Delta Medical Center **Position Overview:** The Radiologic Technologist coordinates and performs a wide variety of quality diagnostic radiographic examinations and may assist in the performance of procedures. The Technologist must possess and demonstrate knowledge of the following: anatomy/physiology, radiation safety, radiographic equipment operation, safe patient transfers and positioning techniques, and ethical and professional conduct. The Technologist ensures accurate documentation, effective communications and demonstrates knowledge of age-appropriate criteria when working with all patients, which include high risk and critically ill patients. Responsible for accurate charge capture. ** Population served includes neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. ** ** Schedule: Must be flexible with Day, Swing, or Night Shift. Weekday & Weekend. 8-hour shifts. ** ** Per Diem Position: $1.50 per diem differential in lieu of benefits. ** **Job Description** : **EDUCATION** _Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma._ + Graduation from a Joint Commission-approved School of Radiologic Technology. **CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE** + ARRT - Radiography - American Register of Radiologic Technologists Upon Hire + CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire + RHF-Radiology Fluoroscopy within 180 Days of hire + BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider Upon Hire **PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:** + Previous experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist is desirable. + Prior work experience in an acute care facility is preferable. **SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE** + Must be knowledgeable of technical factors and radiographic views. + Demonstrates proficiency with multiple computerized systems. + Demonstrates proficiency when working with picture archiving and communicating systems (PACS) to transmit, archive, and retrieve digital images. + Demonstrates knowledge of and complies with all Federal, State, and local regulatory requirements. \#LI-GO1 **Job Shift:** Varied **Schedule:** Full Time **Shift Hours:** 8 **Days of the Week:** Variable **Weekend Requirements:** Saturday, Sunday **Benefits:** Yes **Unions:** Yes **Position Status:** Non-Exempt **Weekly Hours:** 0 **Employee Status:** Per Diem/Casual Sutter Health is an equal opportunity employer EOE/M/F/Disability/Veterans. Pay Range is $58.09 to $72.94 / hour _The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location.
