Qualifications and requirements Applicants should have a current state RN license. Additional requirements include: Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire. ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire. Requires one to three years of work experience. May initiate disciplinary action and provide input into a subordinate's performance evaluations. Instructs workers in normal operational tasks.
