DS Technologies Inc is looking for SDET / ETL Backend Tester role for one of our premier clients.

Job Title: SDET / ETL Backend Tester

Location: Remote (DMV candidates preferred for occasional onsite meetings)

Overview:
Elite Technical is hiring an experienced SDET / ETL Backend Tester to join a fast-paced cross-functional team supporting high-volume healthcare claims and enrollment platforms. The role involves test automation (Java/Selenium), ETL validation using SQL, and Jenkins scripting to support CI/CD pipelines.

Position:
Contract 12+ months, 40 hours/week

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium/Java and SoapUI.

• Perform backend/ETL testing across large datasets using complex SQL queries.

• Modify and optimize Jenkins scripts for CI/CD pipelines.

• Validate database integrations (DB2 UDB, DB2 Mainframe, MongoDB).

• Collaborate with Agile/Waterfall teams to refine test plans and manage defects via JIRA/ALM.

• Investigate data discrepancies and ensure data integrity.

• Communicate testing strategy and results with stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

• 6+ years of SDET experience with strong backend/ETL testing.

• Expertise in SQL (complex queries, joins, optimizations).

• Automation experience with Selenium/Java and API tools like SoapUI.

• Hands-on with Jenkins scripting.

• Experience in healthcare insurance domain (claims/enrollment).

• Familiarity with SDLC (Agile/Waterfall), JIRA, ALM.

• Experience handling large-scale datasets (millions of records).

Preferred Skills:

• Database knowledge: DB2 UDB, DB2 Mainframe, MongoDB

• Scripting: Python, Shell

Additional Information:

• Final round interview will be conducted face-to-face

• Remote role, but DMV-based candidates preferred

Candidate Details:

• Must have strong SQL and test automation background

• Experience with healthcare claims/enrollment systems is critical

• Local to DC/MD/VA preferred
