You’ll oversee the planning, creation, and execution of our social media and content strategy, ensuring that we’re reaching our target audience and achieving our business goals. As a content expert, you’ll play a key role in producing standout assets that captivate our audience, drive engagement, and enhance our brand presence across platforms. 

What you’ll do

• Work alongside Global Social Media Lead (based in Melbourne, AU) to develop and execute a comprehensive social media and content strategy aligned with our overall business objectives.
• Own the end-to-end content creation process, from ideation through to production, copywriting, and scheduling - experience writing social copy and using Canva for design is critical; experience producing/editing social-first mobile video strongly preferred.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external creative partners (freelance: designers, videographers, copywriters and agency partners) to develop compelling social-first content.
• Manage and monitor our social media channels, engaging with our audience and bringing our brand to life online.
• Drive creative innovation by experimenting with new content formats, styles, and storytelling techniques to maximize engagement.
• Ensure brand consistency across all social media content while adapting for platform best practices.
• Analyse social media and content performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and measure the impact of our efforts.

• Creative Excellence – A strong understanding of what makes social media content engaging, shareable, and impactful.
• Strategic Thinking – Ability to align content production with business objectives, audience needs, and platform trends.
• Collaboration & Influence – Proven experience working cross-functionally with designers, videographers, copywriters, agencies, and freelancers.
• Innovation & Experimentation – A passion for pushing creative boundaries and testing new content formats and storytelling techniques.
• Project Management – Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, balancing creative quality with efficiency.
• Data-Driven Mindset – Ability to interpret content performance data and apply insights to future content strategies.

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in social media marketing, creative and strategy, preferably in a mid-level role (oversees and executes production).
• Proven experience producing high-impact social content that drives growth, engagement and advocacy.
• Experience developing and executing successful social media campaigns.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, content trends, and best practices.
• Experience in creating high-quality, engaging content for social media.
• Proficiency in working with copywriting, creative tools (Canva), video production tools (mobile phone capture, CapCut, Premiere Pro), and social media measurement/analytics.

$135,200 - $185,900 a year
