Job Description:

This position leads the daily operations of supply chain staff at the assigned hospital location, ensuring the efficient flow of supplies, equipment distribution, inventory management, and receiving activities. The Supervisor collaborates with department leaders to improve workflows, reduce costs, and maintain compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards. This position also acts as the primary backup for Lawson Inventory Control (IC) and PAR Excellence systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily operations related to supply flow, equipment cleaning/inventory, and mailroom services
  • Ensure operational compliance with budgets, quality control standards, and regulations
  • Support Biomedical Engineering in safe equipment distribution
  • Act as primary Lawson IC and PAR Excellence systems backup
  • Train and function across all Supply Chain job duties
  • Coordinate special supply requests and troubleshoot supply-related issues
  • Compile and present statistical reports to inform operations
  • Help develop and enforce supply chain procedures and regulatory compliance
  • Maintain and distribute patient care equipment per protocols

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of supervisory experience in healthcare supply chain or procurement
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Healthcare system experience required
  • Proficiency with Lawson ERP preferred
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
