Position Title: Cath Lab Technician Traveler
Department: Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab)

Shift: 3 Days/Week | 12-Hour Shifts | Monday Friday | 07:00 19:30
Weekly Hours: 36 Hours
Experience Required: Minimum 2 Years of Cath Lab Experience
Athena Medtech is seeking an experienced and motivated Traveler Cath Lab Technician to join our high-performing Cardiac Catheterization Lab team. This role plays a critical part in supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, clinically competent, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative healthcare environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssess, prepare, and position patients for diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab.
Administer and monitor conscious sedation and perform hemodynamic monitoring during procedures.
Assist physicians in performing diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures.
Set up, operate, and maintain specialized equipment and supplies before, during, and after procedures.
Develop and document individualized care plans; ensure safe and effective patient care throughout the procedure.
Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team regarding the patient's condition and procedural progress.
Adhere to infection control and safety protocols, and maintain a sterile field during all procedures.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting.
Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and procedural equipment.
Proficiency in conscious sedation, patient monitoring, and sterile technique.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking skills.
Ability to adapt to new environments and function effectively as a traveler in different healthcare settings.
Current certifications: [Specify relevant credentials such as RCIS, BLS, ACLS, etc.]
