About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for its regional medical center and community hospital. This newly created executive leadership role is pivotal in overseeing and enhancing the financial operations and strategic initiatives of the health system. The CFO will be responsible for managing materials, budgeting, and decision support to ensure financial efficiency, strategic growth, and sustainability. Key selection criteria include a minimum of 10 years' progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within a health system or healthcare environment, a BA/BS degree (Master’s preferred), and extensive experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, materials management, and decision support. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and implementing financial strategies that drive organizational growth and efficiency, strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, and excellent leadership and team-building capabilities. The successful candidate for the CFO position at the company's regional medical center and community hospital will be a strategic leader with in-depth knowledge of healthcare finance, including regulatory and compliance requirements. They must possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization. The role requires the ability to work in a complex and matrixed environment, and the CFO will be expected to foster a collaborative and results-oriented culture.
