The Wind Service Technician performs planned and unplanned maintenance including troubleshooting and replacement of parts if necessary, in a safe and professional manner on Wind Turbines. Detailed records and parts used must be completed for all work performed. Technicians report to site management and communicate needs and or safety issues that arise. Perform first class work on preventive maintenance to be completed on time and right the first time. Relocation may be offered for this role should it be necessary **How You'll Make anImpact** + Performsmainly pre-defined, technical tasks (for example, basic commissioning of productsand systems, integration of components to a system, basic engineering, maintenancejobs) and work packages on-site and remotely. + Supportscustomer remotely and onsite, and provides 2nd and 3rd level user supportin caseof arising issues. + Coordinatesand accomplishes defined service operations and/or resolves product issuesfor customers equipment. + Work in stressful, dangeroussituations, and participate in the development of new field procedures andbest practices work on wind power projects. + Flexible travel schedule up to10-25% travel. Complete and maintain required and accurate documentationand records. + Flexibility to work outsideplanned hours, including nights and weekends as needed and on-call + Work in varying temperatureconditions, and adverse weather conditions. **What You Bring** + Someexperience into related field Climb Wind towers (up to 300 feet) multipletimes and at times without climbing aids or lifts preferred. + Driving is an essential function of the job and applicants must havea valid driver's license at the time of application with an acceptabledriving record. Employees must maintain a valid license and acceptabledriving record and may be subject to periodic DMV checks of their license. + Physically and mentally able to work suspended from heights and inconfined spaces + Willingto travel up to 25% + Highschool diploma or equivalent. + Mustmeet body weight restrictions of 265 lbs. or less as required by theequipment safety regulations. + Mustpass a physical administered by a medical examiner to ensure ability tosafely perform the job functions and meet the physical demands of theposition. Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
