We are seeking a reliable and skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our property management team. This position is responsible for maintaining and preparing apartment units and property grounds to ensure a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment for current and future residents. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in general maintenance, painting, light plumbing, and minor appliance and equipment repairs.
*TWO WEEK CONTRACT *
Key Responsibilities:
•Prepare vacant units for new tenants, including cleaning, painting, and minor repairs
•Perform general maintenance tasks such as drywall patching, fixture replacement, and carpentry repairs
•Complete light plumbing work includes unclogging drains, replacing faucets, and minor leak repairs
•Move and install appliances such as refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, and washers/dryers as needed
•Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
•Conduct routine property inspections to identify and address maintenance needs
•Respond promptly to maintenance service requests and work orders
•Communicate effectively with property management, fellow maintenance staff, and residents
Qualifications:
•High school diploma or equivalent
•Willing to submit to drug and background screening
•1+ years of experience in general maintenance, apartment, or property management preferred
•Basic knowledge of plumbing, painting, appliance installation, and general repair work
•Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
•Capable of lifting and moving appliances and heavy equipment
•Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
