**Job Title: Front Desk Agent**

**Job Overview:**
As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the welcoming face of our establishment, responsible for greeting and registering guests, providing exceptional service throughout their stay, and ensuring a smooth check-out process. Your friendly demeanor and professional approach will create a positive experience for all guests.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Guest Registration:** Welcome and register guests upon arrival, ensuring a seamless check-in experience.
- **Reservation Management:** Make and modify reservations as needed, accommodating guest requests with a smile.
- **Concierge Services:** Act as a hotel operator and concierge, providing information about hotel services, local attractions, and entertainment options.
- **Outstanding Service:** Deliver attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests before their arrival and throughout their stay, while maximizing room revenue and occupancy.
- **Friendly Interactions:** Approach all encounters with guests and team members in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
- **Professional Appearance:** Maintain high standards of personal grooming and appearance, including wearing the appropriate uniform and name tag.
- **Attendance:** Adhere to attendance standards as required by scheduling, which may vary based on hotel needs.
- **Policy Compliance:** Follow all company policies, standards, and regulations to promote safe and efficient hotel operations.
- **Guest Engagement:** Greet and welcome all guests at the Front Desk, maintaining a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
- **Telephone Operations:** Ensure proper operation of the telephone switchboard, meeting performance standards.
- **Information Handling:** Efficiently manage requests for information, mail, and messages with courtesy and professionalism.
- **Inquiries:** Respond to guest inquiries regarding hotel services, facilities, and hours of operation.
- **Team Collaboration:** Foster good communication and teamwork with fellow associates and other hotel departments.
- **Rate Knowledge:** Stay informed about all rates, packages, special promotions, and in-house groups, as well as closed-out and restricted dates.
- **Reservation Details:** Collect all necessary information when taking room reservations and follow the rate quoting procedures.
- **Policy Familiarity:** Be knowledgeable about company policies, house rules, and hospitality terminology.
- **Emergency Procedures:** Understand and assist with emergency procedures as required.
- **Check-in/Check-out:** Handle check-ins and check-outs in a friendly, efficient, and courteous manner.
- **Computer Proficiency:** Fully comprehend and operate all relevant aspects of the Front Desk computer system.
- **Package Management:** Log and deliver packages, mail, and messages to guests and meeting rooms as needed.
- **Communication Etiquette:** Use proper two-way radio etiquette when communicating with other associates.
- **Guest Deliveries:** Deliver guest items such as luggage, newspapers, messages, packages, and amenities as requested.
- **Local Knowledge:** Maintain an up-to-date understanding of property amenities, special events, and local attractions.
- **Additional Duties:** Perform other assigned duties, which may include assisting coworkers in other areas, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and ensuring overall cleanliness and safety throughout the hotel and grounds.
