Van Subaru Job Title: Sales Assistant – Car Sales Location: Kansas City, MO Job Type: Full-time Hourly Rate: $16/hr Job Summary: We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Sales Assistant to support our car sales team and enhance the overall customer experience. In this role, you’ll work closely with traditional car salespeople, assisting in the entire sales process — from greeting customers to preparing vehicles for test drives and supporting the final sale paperwork. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to enter the automotive sales industry without the pressure of commission-based selling. Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers on the lot or in the showroom and provide initial assistance
• Answer basic product questions and help match customer needs with inventory
• Assist sales staff with organizing and preparing test drives
• Ensure vehicles are clean, fueled, and presentable for customer viewings
• Manage inventory movement and lot organization
• Collect and verify required documents from customers
• Input customer data into the CRM system accurately and timely
• Coordinate with finance and insurance (F&I) staff for smooth handovers
• Provide follow-up communication to ensure customer satisfaction
• Support general dealership operations, including administrative and clerical tasks

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Previous customer service or retail experience preferred
• Interest in the automotive industry a plus
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Must be available to work weekends and evenings as needed
